Wednesday

A woman contacted police at 5:41 p.m. to report that she found a diamond ring at Toys "R" Us at the Northshore Mall.

Police went to the Friendly's restaurant on Route 114 at 8:32 p.m. on a report of a female customer having fainting spells. A 40-year-old Peabody woman was transported to Beverly Hospital by ambulance.

Store security guards caught three juveniles shoplifting from the J.C. Penney store on Route 114 at 8:46 p.m. They will be summonsed to court, police said.

Vinicius Rocha, 25, of 17 Sewall St., Peabody, was arrested at 9:01 p.m. by Patrolman David McGovern on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license. Wilson DaRocha, 56, of the same address, will be summonsed to court for allowing the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, police said.

David Boudreau, 48, of 39 Garden Road, Peabody, was arrested at 11:46 p.m. at that address on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

Thursday

A female juvenile was given a no-trespass order by Spencer Gifts after being caught trying to steal a $10 item from the store in the Northshore Mall.

Danvers

Wednesday

Donald Quinn, 32, of 9 Warren St., Arlington, was arrested at 6:17 p.m. at Kohl's in Liberty Tree Mall on a charge of shoplifting. Timothy Donoghue, 25, of 11 Erica Lane, Tewksbury, was arrested in the same incident and was charged with shoplifting and with possession of loose prescription pills.

Thursday

A representative at Herb Chambers Chevrolet/Hummer on Route 114 reported at 11:07 a.m. that when he opened the dealership in the morning, all the wheels had been taken off one vehicle.

Salem

Wednesday

A Boston Street man told police he lost a $200 platinum wedding ring. He said he called two stores in Peabody where he had been but was told they had not found a ring.

A Loring Avenue man said a radio and GPS, valued at $600, were stolen from his unlocked car overnight.

James Lloyd, 51, of 46 Endicott St., Salem, was arrested at 6:14 p.m. at the corner of Summer and Endicott streets on charges of domestic assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a cell phone), and malicious destruction of property valued at more than $250.

A motorist was given a warning after knocking down a pedestrian in a crosswalk at North and Mason streets at 8:06 p.m.. The pedestrian, who was wearing dark clothing and had not activated the crossing light, said she was not injured, according to police. A witness said the car only "bumped" the woman.

Thursday

A computer was reported stolen sometime over the summer from the teen health center at Salem High School.

A contractor told police that gutters had been stolen from a house he was painting on Bradley Street. He said he had removed the gutters from the house the day before and placed them next to a Dumpster, but planned to put them back after he finished painting. A neighbor saw a man take the gutters and gave police a license plate number. When police contacted the man, he said he thought they were being thrown out. The man went back to Bradley Street and paid to replace the gutters, police said.
