A First Street resident told police at 10:27 p.m. that his neighbor turns his radio up real loud — and then turns it down. Police investigated, but the neighbor must have had it turned down when they were there. They didn't hear anything.
A man who loaned his neighbor his car to go to a yard sale and paid him $3,400 to get building supplies told police at 11:03 p.m. that the neighbor missed an appointment and now all calls are going to voice mail. Asked if he wanted to report the car as stolen, he said, "Not at this time," according to the log.

A man on School Street told police at 12:51 a.m. that someone — he suspects kids — threw a rock at the side of his house. Police noted there was no damage, nor could they locate the kids.
A punch in the nose drew police to Clifton Avenue at 1:01 a.m., when a woman told them she'd been struck by another woman after the pair got into an argument. She refused medical care and was advised on how to seek a protective order from the courts. The other woman could not be located.
David Lugo Concepcion, 19, of 49 Henry Ave., Lynn, was arrested at 3:46 a.m. on Loring Avenue by officers Charlene Sano, Daniel Tucker and Timothy Salvo for domestic assault and battery.
A woman on Loring Avenue told police at 4:05 a.m. that she "believes she is being followed," according to the log.
A man on Washington Street at Essex Street complained to police at 5:16 a.m. that he was sitting in his car, having a cigarette and listening to music when another man approached to complain about the volume of the music. The man told officers his critic "insulted him, flipped him off and kicked his motor vehicle, after which he sat on a nearby bench," according to the log. Police pointed out there was no damage, and they counseled the kicker that there are better ways to handle these problems "instead of using his more severe methods," according to the log.
Police investigated a reported "sexual force-fondling adult" at 11:02 a.m. on Highland Avenue.
Police investigated a reported domestic assault and battery on Lafayette Street at 12:12 p.m.
Donald M. Thomson, 26, of 71 Palmer St., Salem, was arrested at 12:30 p.m. on Palmer Street by officers Charlene Sano, Kathleen Costa and Lawrence Puleo for domestic assault and battery. Police responded to a report of "yelling and banging coming from the second floor," according to the log.
A woman at the Lincoln Hotel on Lafayette Street told police at 12:43 p.m. that she left her grocery bag in the hall for a moment while she ran out to her vehicle, and when she returned, it was gone. There are no witnesses.
A man told police at 7:42 p.m. that he'd been assaulted by two men on Proctor Street. "He stated that he was jumped from behind, and did not get a good look at the youths," according to the log. "There was no demand for property or any weapons shown."
A woman on Cedar Street told police at 8:15 p.m. that she saw two men make "a hand-to-hand transaction" of what she believes were drugs. Police will make extra checks in the area.
A man visiting his girlfriend on Chase Street reported his bicycle stolen from the second-floor porch at 9:27 p.m. A friend said he saw it in the hands of a guy named Checo. The victim estimated its worth at $750.

Edgar Ovidio Perez-Lopez, 17, of 20 New Park St., Lynn, was arrested on the Bridge Street bypass at 12:38 a.m. by Patrolman Dana Mazola for driving without a license and speeding after driving 70 in a 25 mph zone, according to police.

Friday
Tiago Malta, 27, of 293 Chelsea St., Everett, was arrested on Washington Street at 2:39 p.m. by Officer Mark Saia on a charge of driving with a suspended license and failing to show his name.
Stephen N. Stewart, 46, of 50 Warren St., Peabody, was arrested at the home address at 4:27 p.m. by Officer Gerald Fitzgerald on a charge of disorderly conduct. Police responded to a report of an "unwanted party," and Stewart was served a harassment order from a woman.
A 48-year-old Somerville woman will be summonsed for shoplifting at Macy's, according to the log at 4:55 p.m.
Police were asked to shoo skateboarders away from Our Lady of Fatima Church on Walsh Avenue, according to the police report at 4:59 p.m. And they shooed.
A resident on North Street reported three bicycles stolen from the yard during the afternoon, according to the log at 5:25 p.m.

A woman stopped near Su Chang's on Lowell Street at 8:41 a.m. will be summonsed for driving without a registration. Her car was towed.
Police were called by the Eastern Bank at Shaw's on Andover Street at 12:50 p.m., and a 29-year-old Gloucester woman will be summonsed for trying to pass a bad check.
A man on Ellsworth Road told police at 3:21 p.m. that he lost a gold watch.
Police were called at 10:13 p.m. by a woman on Lowe Street who said her roommate had stolen things from her. She was advised to make a list.
A 22-year-old man was taken to Salem Hospital after police investigated a report of a fight on Central Street at 10:15 p.m. "Suspect fled," according to the report, and the man was "advised to take his charges out in the district court."
A homeowner on Clement Avenue reported a burglary at his home, with entry gained through the bulkhead. He told police at 11:51 p.m. that he will list his losses.

Long B. Nguyen, 31, of 7 Grant St., Wilmington, was arrested at 12:36 a.m. near the Golden Banana on Route 1 by Officer David McGovern on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Police had responded to a report of two people out of control. A 37-year-old woman from the same address will also be summonsed for assault and battery.
Winifred A. Donatelli, 69, of 12 Crowinshield St., Peabody, was arrested near Leather City Commons on Lowell Street at 3:40 a.m. by Officer Michael Eon on a charge of disorderly conduct. Police had been called to assist in a dispute.
Johanna L. Zwicker, 19, of 428 Maple St., Danvers, was arrested on Beacon Boulevard at 6:32 a.m. by Officer Michael Eon on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and destruction of property. Initially, police were told by a resident that "a female known to her broke a window and her television. She states that she also assaulted her," according to the log.
A resident on Donegal Road told police at 10:45 a.m. that a strange man entered the house and fled in (a) blue Chevy Lumina," according to the police report. "Nothing missing from the residence."
A stolen Subaru was found and recovered at 10:36 a.m. on Mill Street.
Vandalism was reported on Perley Avenue at 11:11 a.m., with two vehicle windows broken overnight.

A 49-year-old Salem man will be summonsed for driving with a revoked registration after a stop on Pound Lane at 9:53 a.m.
A leaf blower, shovels and rakes disappeared, said the property owner on Route 114 after the storage shed was broken into, according to a 10:53 a.m. log entry.

Police told a man on Palmer Road at 12:54 p.m. to get his recreational vehicle into the driveway. RVs are only allowed on the street for 24 hours, according to the police report.
An ambulance crew joined police at 1:40 p.m. responding to a report of a woman "stabbing herself."
A vehicle was reported burglarized on Elliott Street at 2:40 p.m.
Faced with a vehicle burning alongside a gas pump on Cabot Street, a driver managed to put out a "small electrical fire" himself before the arrival of the police and Fire Department, according to the log at 5:07 p.m.

Mark H. Flinn, 57, of 11 Chestnut St., Beverly, was arrested on his street at 7:33 p.m. for violating a harassment prevention order by Patrolmen Brian Long and Erik Schultz. The log notes an "argument over parking."
A possible break-in at a business on Bridge Street was investigated at 8:17 p.m.
Andrew R. Fanning, 19, of 20 Stewart Ave., Beverly, was arrested on Rantoul Street at 10:15 p.m. on a charge of destruction of property and attempting to commit a crime. Police responded to a call regarding "someone breaking into back door." Responding were Patrolmen Eric Lynch, John McCarthy, David Grimes and Brian Long and Sgt. Richard Russo.

An Apple Road resident reported that things were stolen out of the car at 4:21 p.m..
Ronald Tattersall, 51, of 128 Leslie Road, Rowley, was arrested on Herrick Street at 4:49 p.m. by Patrolmen Erik Schultz and Antonio Diruzza on a charge of violating an abuse-prevention order.
A vehicle was the victim of vandalism on Bennett Street, according to the log at 6:50 p.m.

A resident called police to Hale and Dane streets out of concern for an injured skunk at 6:30 a.m. "The skunk was put down," according to the log, "and DPW was notified."
Workers who left their tools for plastering on the sidewalk at Greene Street found them gone at 11:56 a.m.
A driver will be summonsed for driving after his license was suspended. His car was towed following a stop at Rantoul and West Dane streets.
Fraud was reported on Brimbal Avenue as someone's credit card was used to get $2,500 in Texas. The card's owner was reimbursed by the bank.
