Police received a 10:30 p.m. report of a fight on State Street, but an officer determined there was no fight and it was “just a small crowd that has been moved along.”
A woman at the Charles Motel reported at 5:32 p.m. that a man was trying to kick her door down. The man had left by the time police arrived.
Police received an 8:15 p.m. report that a Lake Street man’s ex-wife had taken a dog from his home and was refusing to give it back.
A driver got out of his vehicle during a road rage incident on Lowell Street and punched another driver through an open window, according to an 8:59 p.m. report. An officer later spoke with the victim, who said did not want to pursue the issue.
A Washington Street man reported at 9:47 p.m. that a woman had called him and “threatened to come by and shoot him.”
Police responded to a 12:21 a.m. report of cows walking down the street on Buxton Lane and determined “farm personnel will be retrieving the livestock.” An officer later wrote: “All bovine have been returned to custody.”
A Lowell Street woman reported at 8:06 a.m. that she believed somebody was breaking into her apartment while she was at work.
Police responded to a 1:56 p.m. report of shoplifting at J.C. Penney at the Northshore Mall and subsequently arrested Evan Querusio, 18, of 8 Munroe St., Somerville, on a charge of shoplifting.
Police responded to a 7:55 p.m. report of an “apartment trashed” at 7 Endicott St. and spoke with a woman who refused to provide the names of guests who had apparently thrown a plate of food on her kitchen floor. “The glass plate that held ribs was broken in pieces on the floor upon our arrival,” wrote an officer.
