A caller from Marblehead High School notified police at 10:24 a.m. that a student wanted to file a police report after money was stolen from his locker.
A man came into the police station at 4:52 p.m. to report he had received a letter stating that his daughter was mean. There were no threats or return address. Police spoke with the daughter who said she doesn’t know who might have sent the letter. Parents were advised to contact police again should this turn into a bullying matter.
A Baldwin Road caller came into the station, at 5:31 p.m., to report someone had fraudulently filed a tax return with her name and Social Security number.
A caller reported, at 6:02 p.m., from the vicinity of Pleasant and School streets, that two males were skateboarding down the middle of the street. She beeped at them, and they cursed at her and threw pebbles at her car. The caller didn’t think her car was damaged, but she would like them spoken to about their behavior.

Monday
A Lynn man was issued a court summons after a 2:12 p.m. motor vehicle stop in the vicinity of 165 Lynn St. He was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. His passenger, also of Lynn, was summonsed for allowing an unlicensed person to operate a motor vehicle.
A Downing Road father notified police, at 6:27 p.m., that his son ran away Sunday at 10 a.m. and had not returned. The youth was on foot. His cell phone was last pinged in the vicinity of the Danvers Burger King. Officers attempted to contact him via his cellphone, but were unsuccessful. But at 9:23 p.m., the father called back to say his son had returned home.
A 36-year-old Peabody man was summonsed for operating a motor vehicle while having a suspended operator’s license, after a 6:42 p.m. motor vehicle stop in the vicinity of Walnut and Paleologos streets. The vehicle was released to a licensed operator.
A resident of Foxwood Circle called police, at 9:08 p.m., to report her identity had been stolen and a fraudulent tax return filed with her information.
A 35-year-old Malden Man was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle while having a suspended license and for a marked lanes violation, after an 11:04 p.m. motor vehicle stop in the vicinity of Lynn Street and Tuckers Court. The vehicle was taken by a licensed operator.
Officers went to 4 Aberdeen St., at 11:05 p.m., after receiving a request from Lynn police to help them locate Scott Larrabee. Larrabee was reported to have been operating a 1999 blue Ford F150 pickup, and the vehicle was parked in front of 4 Aberdeen. Larrabee was taken into custody and handed over to Lynn police.
Tuesday
A Pulaski Street resident reported, at 7 a.m., that someone had thrown a rock through the window. Police apprehended a 21-year-old Salem woman who was summonsed for malicious destruction of property over $250.
Officers monitoring traffic, at 8:09 a.m., at the Welch School voting station, issued a summons to a 32-year-old Aborn Street woman. She was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and with failure to stop for a school bus.
A Mooney Avenue caller reported, at 9:10 a.m., that her Rhode Island Red chicken has been missing since Saturday. The chicken was last seen in the area of Mooney Avenue, Salem, near St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Salem
Monday
Police arrested Samantha Deignan, 19, of 498 Newtown Road, Littleton, at 10:16 p.m., in the vicinity of the Clipper Ship Inn, 40 Bridge St. She was charged with sexual conduct for a fee.
Tuesday
An officer was sent to a White Street address, at 9:22 a.m., after a resident said she had parked her Volkswagen Jetta on White Street last night, and when she returned to it this morning, about $10 in change was taken from her center console.
A Kosciusko Street caller reported, at 1:28 p.m., that someone entered her car overnight and stole approximately $10 in change.
A Geneva Street woman reported to police, at 2:13 p.m., that Monday, at about 2:46 p.m., a man knocked on the upstairs door to her apartment. She said the man told her he represented National Grid and another company, and that he could save her 9 percent on her power bill, but he needed to see her unit and her meter. She asked to see the badge affixed to his jacket. He displayed it briefly, then took it away. She said she was not interested, and the man walked down the stairs and appeared to try the knob on the first-floor apartment door. He left, after being told to do so. An officer attempted to locate him, but he was no longer in the neighborhood. Before the officer left, he was approached by a second neighbor, who said that he had seen the man ring the apartment doorbell and let himself into the building, actions the neighbor said, he found to be suspicious.
Beverly
Monday
Police responded to an Eastern Avenue address, at 5:24 p.m., after an 11-year-old called to report he had seen what he believed to be a kidnapping. The officers determined the youth’s suspicions were without basis.
An officer went to a laundromat at 304 Cabot St., at 7:06 p.m., after someone called to report that a homeless man was sleeping under a table. The man was awakened and sent on his way.
Tuesday
An officer was called to the vicinity of Cabot and Hudson streets, at 2:55 p.m., after someone reported people yelling next to the store. The officer determined that a single person was having an animated cell phone conversation with someone. He advised the person to go to a more private location.
Police went to 108 Cherry Hill Drive, at 3:19 p.m., for the report of an ex-employee causing a disturbance. The ex-employee was put on a taxi and sent home.
Swampscott
Monday
A Bradlee Avenue caller reported, at 8:29 a.m., that a motor vehicle had been broken into overnight.
Nelson Gelardi, 35, of 58 New Ocean St., Swampscott, was arrested at 9:26 a.m., in the vicinity of Boynton and Burrill streets on an outstanding warrant charging him with operating a motor vehicle on a suspended registration; towing an uninsured trailer, carrying a dangerous weapon; driving an unregistered motor vehicle; and larceny over $250.
An officer was called to 65 Morton Road, at 11:57 a.m., after a man came to the house, told them he had lived there, then walked through the house and left.
A Gloucester man was arrested, after a 12:58 p.m. motor vehicle stop, in the vicinity of Burrill Street and Paradise Road. Adam Ham, 26, of 19 Essex Ave., Gloucester, was charged on an outstanding warrant for operating a motor vehicle while having a suspended license, subsequent offense; refusing, as motor vehicle operator, to identify himself and driving with an invalid inspection sticker.
Danvers
Monday
Police were dispatched to Best Buy Danvers, 230 Independence Way, at 1:53 p.m., for the shoplifting of a Sony Playstation PS4 Console valued at $300.
Officers went to Kohl’s, 50 Independence Way, at 6:26 p.m. for a shoplifter. The store handled the case.
Tuesday
Police responded to 115 Village Post Road, at 6:08 a.m., after a resident reported malicious damage to a motor vehicle.
Police were dispatched to Kelly Infiniti, 155 Andover St., at 6:44 a.m.,for the report of a suspicious person checking door handles on cars.
Officers were sent to Wal-Mart, 55 Brooksby Village Drive, at 1:35 p.m. for a shoplifter apprehended. Arrested was Dalilla Santos, 21 of 23 Sherman St., Peabody. She was charged with shoplifting by asportation.
