MARBLEHEAD - Mona C. (Peterson) Whipple, 95, formerly of Bradford, Conn., Marblehead, wife of the late James Whipple of Marblehead, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 29, 2008 in the Jewish Rehabilitation Center, Swampscott.
Born in Winthrop, the daughter of the late Svante and Christina (Sandstedt) Peterson, she was raised by an uncle following the untimely and early death of her parents.
