Calvin P. Daniel 87, formerly of Beverly, died Monday, April 10, 2012 at the Salem Hospital.
Born in Houston, TX, he was the son of the late Elizabeth (Crocker) Daniel and her husband.
An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country during World War II as a member of the U.S. Army.
Mr. Daniel had been employed as an electrician for the Boston Naval Shipyard and at one time owned his own company, “Daniel Electric.”
A humanitarian, Calvin humbly assisted and supported many people in need whenever he could. He was a friend of Bill W. for the past twenty one years.
He is survived by his close friend and caregiver, Janice M. Oxford of Lynn, his grandchildren, Dane, Melanie and Cheyenne and his best friend, Luna.
