Marilyn (Andersen) Trefrey, 78, beloved wife of Herbert D. Trefrey, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, surrounded by her family. Born in Beverly, she was daughter of the late Norman and Hilda (Raymond) Andersen.
Marilyn was raised in Beverly before moving to Danvers. For many years she was a bus driver for the Danvers School System. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will truly be missed by all.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three sons: Eric Trefrey of Danvers; William Trefrey and his wife Brie of Salem; and Alan Trefrey and his wife Debbie of Ipswich; and three grandchildren: Dan, Michelle and Katie Trefrey of Hamilton; along with many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her siblings.
