Michael A. McMahon, 50


Lynn — Mr. Michael A. McMahon, 50, of Lynn, died unexpectedly, June 5, 2013.

Born in Beverly, he was the son of Marjorie (Larabee) McMahon and the late Robert J. McMahon. He was raised and educated in Beverly, and was a graduate of Beverly High School. He continued his education at Salem State College, where he earned his degree.

Mr. McMahon had been employed with Mullen Advertising Agency in Boston and more recently, he was associated with Dick’s Last Resort in Boston. His true passion in life was music and he found great happiness in combining his passions and profession. He was the manager of many local bands for several years. Through his work in music he was able to attend the Grammy Awards and was known for his love of music.

Michael was an animal lover, especially of dogs, a fabulous cook and loved to travel.

Michael is survived by his mother, Marjorie (Larabee) McMahon, of Beverly; his sisters, Susan Feilteau and her husband, Mark, of Foxboro, and Diane Pantig and her husband, Dennis, of East Providence; his brother, Robert W. McMahon, of Georgetown; and several nieces and nephews and many friends, including his dear friend Jimmy.
