PEABODY — Ann Marie McKay, 83, died peacefully in her home surrounded by her children on April 11, 2013.
Ann Marie was raised in Andover, Mass., the youngest of four children to Frederick and Grace (Taylor) McKay. After graduating from Andover High School, Ann Marie went to Boston Business school for two years.
She raised her seven children in Marblehead, Mass., and later was employed at Salem Hospital as a medical secretary for 21 years.
She is survived by her seven children and 10 grandchildren; daughters, Kathleen Beer and her husband, Jeff Goldfarb, Coralie Beckingham and her husband, David, and their daughter, Emily, Victoria Obrien and her husband, Paul, and their four children, David, Gregory, Lisa and Allison, Lisa Ferrante and her husband, Steve, and their two children, Stephen and Nicole; sons, Michael Zorzy, Christopher Zorzy and his wife, Barbara, and their three children, Rachel, Meredith and Craig, and Geoffrey Zorzy.
Ann Marie enjoyed sailing the coast of Maine with longtime companion, the late Paul Tiffany.
Ann Marie is also survived by her brother, William McKay and his wife, Grace. She was the dear sister of the late Trudy and Coralie.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held in the Peterson-O’Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St. (Route 62), Danvers, on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial is private.
