John P. Kroll, 52


Middleton — John P Kroll, 52, died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on Saturday, December 14, 2013, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, following his battle with brain cancer. John was a loving husband of Gail (AtKisson) Kroll, with whom he shared 32 years of marriage. John was the proud dad of daughters, Samantha and Jessica.

Born in Indiana, he was the son of the late John and Bonnie (McFarland) Kroll, and in addition to his wife and daughters, is survived by his sisters Kari Kroll, Kathie Wasick and Christy Robinson.

John was a lighting engineer for over 30 years, currently employed at Parsons Brinkerhoff. He lit many of the roadways, tunnels and bridges throughout the country. He was also a member of the Roadway Lighting Committee and Illuminating Engineering Society.

His greatest moments were watching his daughters shine on the dance floor, or on the basketball court.
