Phyllis A. (Walsh) Grayson, 84


Lynn — Mrs. Phyllis A. (Walsh) Grayson, 84, of Lynn, died on Monday December 30, 2013, at her daughters home, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Raymond Grayson.

A lifelong resident of Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Alice (Pollard) Walsh. She was a graduate of Lynn English High School.

Phyllis had worked for over 30 years at the former Rich’s Department Store in Salem. Many years ago, she had also worked at the GE Plant in Lynn.

She enjoyed reading, knitting, shopping, and spending time playing bingo with her friends at Ocean Shores, as well as spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by three children, Diane O’Donnell of Derry, N.H., Robert Grayson and his wife, Linda, of Lynn, and Sandra Hildonen and her husband, Newton, of Lynn; seven grandchildren, Sarah Hildonen, Eric Hildonen, Katie O’Donnell, Andrew Grayson, Douglas Grayson, Amanda O’Donnell, and Patrick Hildonen; a sister Geraldine Curry of Ct and great-grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Marion Gregg and Dorothy Brown.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial funeral Mass on Saturday, at 11 a.m., in St. Pius V Church, Lynn. Burial will be private.
