Frank A. Robinson Jr., 82


Middleton — Frank A. Robinson Jr., 82, passed away on January 4, 2014, in his home and surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Carol (Marcacci) Robinson, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage.

He was born in Beverly on November 16, 1931, and was the son of the late Frank and Gladys (Proctor) Robinson. Frank was raised and educated in Beverly and graduated from Beverly High School. He continued his education at Bentley College and received his master’s degree from Northeastern University. Frank was employed as the director of tax administration for the Gillette Co. He retired in 1988, after 34 years of service.

Besides his wife Carol, he is survived by three children, Gary Robinson and his wife, Jane, of Methuen, Amy Atherton and her husband, Steven, of Middleton, and Beth Robinson of Haverhill; five grandchildren, Courtney, Brian, Zachary, Rebecca, and Nathan; and three great-grandchildren, Taylor, Riley and Nolan; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Shirley Alexander.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, January 8, in St. Agnes Church, Middleton. Burial is private. Visiting hours are on Tuesday, from 4 to 7 p.m., at C.R.
