Beverly — Dante N. Rosso, 84, of Beverly, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, January 4, 2014. He was the loving husband of Liliam Risler Rosso with whom he shared sixty-two years of marriage. Dante was born in Cordoba, Argentina. He served in the Argentine Army from 1947-1949. He later worked as a radio operator for Braniff Airlines in Asuncion, Paraguay. He immigrated to the United States with his wife and children in the early nineteen sixties and settled in Beverly, Massachusetts. He was employed for many years as a technical translator at Chas T. Main Engineering Company in Boston. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Alberto Rosso and his wife, Christy, of Magnolia; and three daughters, Patricia Noonan and her husband, Kenneth, of Beverly; Alexandra Goering and her husband, Michael, of Brooklyn, NY; Lili Rosso of Beverly; his grandchildren, Nathaniel and Colin Rosso, Matthew and Kelly Noonan, Olivia and Sabina Goering, and great-grandchild, McKinley Noonan. He was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters; and leaves behind several nephews, nieces and friends. The family extends a sincere thank you to Hospice of the North Shore and the staff who cared for Dante at Essex Park Nursing Home.
