Salem — Mrs. Nancy E. Heffernan, age 68, of Salem, entered into rest on Friday, January 10, 2014. She was the beloved wife of Dennis Heffernan.
Born in Chelsea, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Beatrice (Wyman) Kerble. She attended Peabody Schools and was a graduate of Peabody High School and later attended Salem State University.
She previously worked as a Manager for Jordan Marsh and as an interior designer.
In addition to her husband, she leaves her children, Brett Heffernan and his wife, Dawn, of Rowley and Stacey Heffernan of Danvers. She was the sister of Maureen Kerble of Peabody, Marc Kerble and his wife, Joan, of North Andover and Ronald Kerble and his wife, Angela, of Florida. She was the Grandmother of Andrew, Ethan, and Riley and the Aunt of Lauren, Christine and Shayna.
ARRANGEMENTS: Services at the Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St., Salem on Sunday, January 12, 2014, at 1 p.m. Burial in the Ezrath Israel Cemetery, Danvers. Memorial Observance at the home of Brett and Dawn Heffernan immediately following the interment until 8 p.m. and on Monday and Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the charity of one’s choice.
