Salem — Mr. Jose Luis Arroyo, 51, of Salem, beloved husband of Florinda (Difut) Arroyo of Salem, died Saturday morning, Oct. 12th, 2012, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers surrounded by his family.
Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Ignacio and Carmen (Medina) Arroyo. He was raised in Puerto Rico and attended high school and college in Puerto Rico. He came to the United States in his later teen years and settled in Salem where he has since resided.
Mr. Arroyo began his professional career with Malik Company of Boston. He then matriculated to Danvers Ford where he had been employed as a sales consultant for over fourteen years and most recently he had been employed with King Kalipers of Peabody.
A car enthusiast, Jose enjoyed working on his beloved Mustang and Corvette. He was a talented musician and guitar player, but above all else he was dedicated to his devoted family. His wife, children, grandchildren and entire family were first and foremost on his mind and in his heart. He will be deeply missed.
In addition to his loving wife of twenty five years, Jose is survived by his daughters, Ashley Arroyo and her partner Willy Duran and Ivelys Arroyo, both of Salem, his granddaughter, Hailey Duran and another little baby boy angel on the way, his sister, Margarita Arroyo of Puerto Rico, his brother, Angel Luis Arroyo of Puerto Rico, his mother-in-law, Maria Rodriguez of Salem, his sister-in-laws, Alexandra Rodriguez and Maria Almonte and her husband Dennis, both of Salem, his brother-in-law, Elvin Rodriguez and his wife Johanna of Salem and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral Mass, which will be held in the Immaculate Conception Church, Hawthorne Blvd., Salem, on Wednesday at 10 A.M. Visiting hours in The O’Donnell Funeral Home, 46 Washington Sq. (At Salem Common), Salem, Tuesday from 5 to 9 P.M. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
