Mary Anne (Luscinski) Demchak, 97 Years


Swampscott, MA — Mary Anne (Luscinski) Demchak, age 97 years, of Swampscott, died October 27 at the Spaulding of the North Shore, Salem, after a brief illness.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Caroline (Sokalski) Luscinski, and wife of the late Nicholas Demchak. Before her retirement Mary and her husband owned and operated Nicholas Studio of Photography of Swampscott for 30 years. She was a member of Salem Country Club for over 50 years. She was an avid golfer, bowler and bridge player. Mary and her husband wintered in Marco Island, FL, after their retirement.

She is survived by one sister Barbara J. and her husband Carl Alboth of Bonita Springs, FL, three nephews Robert W., Ralph L., and Ronald L. Luscinski, eight nieces Linda Moss, Andrea Long, Sandra Cross, Joan Trowel, Diane Marshall, Lorraine Fitzgerald, Susan Lyons and the late Janice Tanana. She is also survived by Several Great and Great Grand Nieces and nephews, and her beloved caregiver, Alfreda Muranowicz of Swampscott. She was sister of the late Walter J. and Chester J. Luscinski, and Stanley L. Lane, Helen Dubowik and Irene Siedlecki.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visiting hours from the Nadworny Funeral Home, 798 Western Ave., Lynn, on Wednesday at 9:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John the Evangelist Swampscott at 11:00 AM. Interment in Swampscott Cemetery.
