Bellingham — Michael H. Gromko, 69, a resident of Bellingham, died peacefully at home with his family by his side on Thursday, June 6, 2013, after a short illness. He was the husband of beloved wife Marie C. Gromko. Son of the late Michael S. and Stasia Gromko. He was the brother of the late Kenneth Gromko. He was born and raised in Salem and graduated from Salem High School, Class of 1962. He was a resident of Easton for 37 years before moving to Bellingham 3 years ago. Mr. Gromko was in the U.S. Navy and a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked in sales/estimating for STD Med in Stoughton for the past 36 years. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family. Mr. Gromko will be remembered for his sense of humor and unfailing commitment to his loved ones.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Gromko is survived by his children, Kim A. Payson and her husband Andrew of Hopkinton and Derek M. Gromko and his wife Jill of Cheshire, CT. He was the grandfather of Deanna Spaulding and her husband Bill, Kenneth Payson, Taylor Gromko and Reagan Gromko.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral Service will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton, MA on Wednesday at 11 AM. Visiting Hours prior from 9-11 AM. Interment will take place immediately following the service at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton, MA.
