Mr. Kevin T. MacDonald, 60, formerly of Beverly and Danvers, died peacefully, Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at home.
Born and raised in Beverly, he was the son of the late Malcolm and Norma (Schaffner) MacDonald. He graduated from Beverly High School, class of 1969.
Mr. MacDonald had formerly owned and operated K.C.’s Country Store in Hamilton for 10 years. Prior to that he was the proprietor of the North Beverly Variety.
Mr. MacDonald was an active member of the Shriner’s - Allepo Temple of Wilmington where he was recently elected at Sergeant of the Provost Guard. He was also a 32nd degree Mason at Liberty Lodge A.F. & A.M. in Beverly, the Scottish Rite Bodies-Valley of Salem and past president of the Beverly Lions Club. He was also an avid golfer and had a great love for the sport of golfing.
He is survived by his daughter, Becky E. Lambert and her husband, Edward of Byfield, a granddaughter, Maggie and sister-in-law, Carole MacDonald of Salem. He was also the brother of the late John W. MacDonald.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral service will be held graveside at the North Beverly Cemetery, Cabot Street, Monday, April 16, 2012 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
