Mrs. Gloria Jean (McNeal) Kiley, 66, of Topsfield, died Friday morning in the Kaplan Family Hospice House after a lengthy illness.
Born in Alabama, she was the daughter of the late William M. and Oda L. (Langley) McNeal. She was raised in Alabama and resided there before coming to Massachusetts over 30 years ago. During that time, she held many jobs. She worked as a Real Estate agent and as a computer technician at Parker Brothers, the Seabrook Power Plant and the B&M Railroad.
Gloria was an active member of the South Congregational Church in Peabody. She enjoyed spending time with and cooking for her family. In earlier years, she was a state champion bowler.
She leaves her children, Gary Kiley and his fiancé Pam Henderson of Haverhill, Chanda Kiley and her husband Jeffrey Roberts of Gloucester, and Sheena Lamprey and her husband Steve of Peabody. She was the sister of Gerald McNeal of Tyler, Ala., Shirley Thompson of Semmes, Ala., Molly McVay of Citronelle, Ala., and Dana Patrick of Citronelle, Ala. She was the loving grandmother of Brian David Theriault and Ryan James Lamprey. She was the sister of the late Paul and Bill McNeal, Louise Gardner and Mary Broadus.
ARRANGEMENTS: Gloria’s funeral service will be held in the South Congregational Church, 60 Prospect St., Peabody, on Tuesday at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Visiting Hours in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Monday from 4-8PM.
