Danvers, MA — Ronald A. Garron Sr., 72, of Danvers, passed away peacefully following a lengthy illness at his home, on November 13, 2013, with family at his side.
Born in Beverly, he was educated in Gloucester, Mass., and went on to work as a fisherman and carpenter, most recently being employed with Varian in Gloucester. He was a former member of the Gloucester Elks, enjoyed following the Boston sports teams, and working around the home and yard. He was a kind, gentle soul who will be missed by family and friends. He leaves his wife, Nancy (Pierce) Saco of Danvers; his mother, Barbara Garron of Maine; and his five children, Michele Abraham and her husband, Garry, of Beverly, Ronald Jr., and his wife, Tammy, of Rowley, James Garron and his wife, Mendy, of Gloucester, Anthony Zane of Salem, and Carla Saco of Beverly. He was brother to Chester Garron and his wife, Kathleen, of Florida, and Donna Caswell and her husband, William, of Maine. He also leaves his grandchildren, Nick, Ali, Jessica, Odin; and several nieces and nephews. Ronald was the former husband of Christine Garron. He was predeceased by his father, Chester Garron; and a sister, Sherry Madruga.
