Dorothy M. Woodberry, 92


Beverly — Dorothy M. (Pool) Woodberry, 92, beloved wife of the late Burrage Larcom Woodberry, died peacefully at home in Beverly, on January 30, 2014, after a period of declining health.

Raised in Lynn, Mass., she attended St. Mary’s High School, and was employed at Champion Lamp. After her marriage in 1949, she devoted herself to her family. Dorothy was a gifted singer, loved literature, and especially enjoyed the more than 55 summers spent on the family’s boat, Gremlin, in Manchester, Mass.

She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Neil M. Woodberry (Edith Biggar) of Beverly, Kathleen L. Anderson (Ray) of Rowley, and Carolyn L. Cennami (Chuck) of Ipswich; grandchildren, Kristen E. Ascenzi (Michael), Glenn N. Anderson, Jonathan M. Cennami, Jennifer L. Keister (Adam), and Christopher B. Cennami; and great-grandchildren, Madisyn Jacobs and Lilyan Keister.
