Lynn, MA — Mr. Robert Sabelli, “Uncle Bob,” age 83, of Lynn, died Friday at his home. Son of the late Francesco and Leonilda (Liberati) Sabelli, he had lived in Lynn for his entire life.
Since the age of 18, Bob had been a carpenter and painter. He was in business with his brother, contracting all over the north shore. Known as Uncle Bob to everyone who knew him, he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his sister, Eleanor Stearns; his sister-in-law, Mary Sabelli; nephews and nieces, Frank Sabelli and his children, Craig Sabelli, Leanne Wheeler and her husband, Steve, and Jeffrey Sabelli; Guido Sabelli, his wife, Susan, and their children; Mary Elizabeth Sabelli and Philip Sabelli; Joseph Sabelli, his wife, Terri, and their children, Anthony Sabelli and his fiancée, Erin Dunn, Christopher and Talia Sabelli; Lenore Barbeau, her husband, Jim and their children, Anna and James Barbeau; Robert Sabelli, his wife, Dee-Dee, and their children, Gina and Robert Sabelli; and Joseph Stearns, his wife, Erica, and their daughter, Julia Stearns; as well as a great-great-niece and nephew, Karissa and Christopher Wheeler. He was the brother of the late Guido Sabelli.
ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral will be held on Monday at 9 a.m. from the Solimine Funeral Home, 426 Broadway, (Route 129), Lynn, followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Family Church, Lynn at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lynn.
