Claire Pelletier, 80


Massachusetts — Claire Pelletier passed away on December 26th, 2012, at the Avante Nursing home in Leesburg, Florida, following a lengthy illness.

Claire was born on September 19th, 1932, in Methuen, Ma. Later she moved to Danvers, MA, and graduated from Danvers High School in 1950. She married Leon Pelletier in 1952. Together they started Permaclean Rug Company in Danvers (currently known as Pelletier Rug and Floor Company), where she worked for over 40 years.

Claire was a devoted spouse, mother and sister, who always put others before herself. Most of all, Claire loved spending time with her family. She also loved to travel in the family motor home.

Claire leaves behind Leon Pelletier, her husband of 60 years. She also leaves her son Steve Pelletier and his wife Cathy of Middleton, MA, her daughter Vickie Henshaw and her husband Rick of Rowley, MA, and her son Lee Pelletier and his wife Dea-Sue of South Berwick, Maine.

She leaves nine grandchildren, Brandi Bonds, Michael Pelletier, Justin Trott, Randy Henshaw, Todd Henshaw, Brandon Henshaw, Bryanna Henshaw, Rachael Ross and Kristyn Edson, and several great-grandchildren

Claire leaves five sisters and two brothers, Marilyn Lord, Carol Plante, Henry Bernard, Pat Sarantis, Nancy O’Connell, Brenda Beaton and Mike Bernard. She also had numerous nieces and nephews. Claire will be missed deeply by family and friends.

ARRANGEMENTS: At Claire’s request, there will be no wake or funeral. No flowers, please.

A Memorial in her honor will be held at her daughter Vickie’s house at 22 Mehaffey Ln., Rowley, MA, on Sunday, January 6th. Hours are from Noon to 8pm. Friends, family, and associates are welcome to attend this celebration of Claire’s life.
