Peabody, MA — Peter M. Silk, Jr. of Peabody passed away unexpectedly on January 3, 2013. He was the husband of Karen (Leahy) Silk.
Born in Beverly, he was the son of the late Peter M. Silk Sr. and Priscilla (DeRocher) Pilotte and her husband Richard of Peabody.
Peter was currently employed with Market Basket as a meat cutter. He was a member of the AOH in Salem and he enjoyed playing pool, cooking and being with his family.
Besides his wife Karen, he leaves a daughter, Alyshia Silk of Peabody, two sisters, Kelly Silk and (Scott) and Caitlin Silk and (Robert), both of Salem. Also leaving a brother; John Silk of Salem, two stepsons; James McDonald of Wakefield and Stephen Urbanski of Peabody. He was the uncle to Gary, Danny, Emma, Christopher, Cailey, Tyler and Faith. He was the brother in-law of Laurie Nickerson of Salem.
Besides his Dad, he was predeceased by a brother Gary Silk.
