Rollinsford, N.H. — Theresa F. Cass, 86, formerly of Stevens, Conn., died Sunday, January 13, 2013, at Riverside Rest Home in Dover.
Born in Beverly, August 21, 1926, the daughter of James and Margaret (Feeney) Mahoney she was a graduate of Beverly High School, Class of 1944.
Prior to her retirement she was secretary at the Rollinsford grade school for 20 years. She was a member of St. Mary Church.
She is survived by her husband, Harley M. Cass, their five children, Margaret A. Cass of Surprise, Ariz., Mary E. Boyle and her husband, Frank of Melrose, Richard H. Cass and his wife, Anne Campbell of Edneyville, N.C., William J. Cass and his wife, Colleen of Laconia, Paul M. Cass and his wife, Andrea of Rollinsford; nine grandchildren, Alyson, Jillian and Brittany Boyle, Bridget, Mary, Amy and Brenna Cass and Derek and Andrew Cass; a sister, Margaret Driscoll of Danvers, and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Costello and Helen Mahoney and two brothers, George and James Mahoney.
ARRANGEMENTS: Friends may call on Thursday, January 17, 2013, from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. at McIntire-McCooey Funeral Home, 301 Main St., South Berwick, Maine. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 17, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Church, Church St., Rollinsford. Burial will be in New Town Cemetery.
