Brian Foley, 56


HAMILTON — Mr. Brian Stuart Foley, 56, of Hamilton, beloved son of Thomas W. and Barbara E. (Martin) Foley, died unexpectedly at his home, December 18th, 2012.

Born in Lynn, he was raised and educated in Hamilton and was a graduate of Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School, Class of 1974. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Carnegie Mellon University and earned a Master of Fine Arts from Smith College.

Brian had many interests including Theatre, Dance, Movement and Movement Therapy, child care, body/mind integration, and the function and psychology of the brain. A life-long learner, he had recently been studying Neuro-Psychology at Salem State University. He volunteered with many organizations, including the Spotlight program at Northeast ARC.

In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by his siblings, Kevin Foley and his wife Janet of McMinnville, Oregon, Anne White and her husband Richard of Northampton, Michael Foley and his wife Karen Polinsky of Bainbridge Island, Washington, Paul Foley and his wife Brenda of Yuma, Arizona, David Foley of New York, New York, and Jean Foley and her husband Russ Cowart of Ft. Collins, Colorado, and many nieces and nephews and friends.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial service which will be held at the Danversport Yacht Club, 161 Elliot Street, Danvers, Thursday, January 31st, 2013, at 11 A.M.
