Beverly — Mrs. Laura M. Lauranzano passed away peacefully at the Masconomet Health Care Center in Topsfield on Friday, Jan. 25th, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Salem on June 12, 1919, she was the daughter of the late James and Euphemie (Landry) Maillet. She worked at AC Lawrence and Sylvania before marrying and starting her family with her husband Joe; together they expanded the family business — Columbus Baking Company of Beverly. Laura loved spending time with her family and everyone was always welcome in her home for Sunday dinners. She enjoyed Needlepoint, Japanese Bunka and Crocheting; her talented craftsmanship won her several awards at the Topsfield Fair. Above all, Laura will be remembered as a caring woman, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her sons: Peter, Joe, his wife Cheryll, Jim, his wife Kim; her daughters; Linda, her husband Buddy deRochemont, Laura Jean, her fiancé Joe Majkut, Mary, her husband Gary Morine, Diane Lauranzano and John Presutti; her grandchildren: Anthony, Joey, Nick, Mike, BJ, Ben, Nathan, Jamie Lee, Trina, Laura, Dom and step-grandchildren: Mike, Pat and Christine and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings: Emelda, Hermance, Edith, Eva and Edgar; her granddaughter: Jill Marie and a stepdaughter: Sandra Travers. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.

ARRANGEMENTS: A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John the Evangelist Church, 111 New Balch Street, Beverly, on Wednesday, Jan. 30th, at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours in the Campbell-Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, North Beverly location, will be held on Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm. Services will conclude with the burial at St. Mary Cemetery, Beverly.
