Danvers — Mrs. Gloria N. (Cerasoli) D’Ettore, 89 years, of Danvers, died Monday, January 28, 2013, in Union Hospital after a brief illness. She is the wife of Mr. Dominic A. D’Ettore. She was born in Lynn, the daughter of the late Benny and Gina (Mostacci) Cerasoli. She was raised in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School. She lived in Lynn most of her life and in Danvers since 1980.
Mrs. D’Ettore loved to cook and bake. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed her family. Mrs. D’Ettore worked for eight years at the General Electric Company before she started her family.
In addition to her husband, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage, she leaves her two daughters, Lorraine R. Carmichael of Peabody, and Barbara A. Jackson and her husband Paul of Middleton; her grandsons, Christopher and Scott Carmichael, Michael and Anthony Jackson. She also leaves a sister Corrine Catapano of Las Vegas, and several nieces and nephews. She is the sister of the late Pauline DeSantis.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral will be held on Friday, February 1, at 9 a.m. from the Solimine, Landergan and Richardson Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Rte. 129), Lynn, followed by a funeral Mass in Holy Family Church, Lynn, at 10 a.m. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lynn.
