Helen Cheklas, 90


Salem — Helen Cheklas, 90, of Brooksby Village in Peabody, formerly of Salem, died Sunday March 31, 2013, in the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers following a lengthy illness.

Born in Peabody she was the daughter of the late Louis and Stella (Therodopulous) Cheklas. A dedicated employee, Helen had been employed at GTE Sylvania Loring Ave., Salem, as a tester for over 42 years and was an active member in their Quarter Century Club for several years.

Helen was predeceased by her sister Constance Croteau and her two brothers Socrates Cheklas and Nicholas Cheklas.
