Danvers — Ruby Ann (Seer) Cuoco entered into rest on November 26, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Daughter of Richard and Ruth Seer, Ruby spent her young years helping her father in his doughnut shop, collecting eggs, making and selling doughnuts.
Ruby attended the Danvers public school system. She married her high school sweetheart, Arthur on November 23, 1955. They lived in Beverly, then Savannah, Ga., before settling in the home she was raised in on Seaview Avenue in Danvers.
Ruby worked for Friend Box Company until she became a full-time homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, baking, dancing and listening to country music. Ruby loved animals of all kinds especially her German shepherd Bandit.
She leaves her husband Arthur Willie, of 57 years of marriage, and her three daughters, Arden Cuoco and companion, Jeff Barber of Middleton, Rhonda Coleman and her husband, Warren of Gloucester, Terri Torento and her husband, Nick of Danvers; eight grandchildren, Danielle and Jay Filtranti of Beverly, Arthur, Sherry, and Andrew Coleman of Gloucester, Christine and Brooke Cuoco and Karen Torento of Danvers. Ruby also has eight great-grandchildren whom she treasured, Nicholas, Benjamin, Lilah, Hunter, Myah, Jocelyn, Bryson and Ryan. She also leaves her two sisters, Edith Santa Maria and Helen Farnsworth, both of Danvers. She was pre-deceased by her infant daughter Arden Ruth in Savannah, Ga.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral service will be held at the Campbell – Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly (North Beverly location), Thursday, November 29, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service on Thursday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
