Lecanto, FL — Charlotte Elizabeth (Betty) Lentine (Workman) went home to be with The Lord on Saturday, September 7, at her home in Lecanto, Fla.
Betty was born on December 12, 1920, in Beverly, Mass., and was the daughter of the late William and Fannie (Wildes) Workman. She is predeceased by two brothers, Leslie and William Workman; and two loving sisters, Evelyn Stier and Amelia Crowley.
Before moving to Florida in 2001, Betty lived in Danvers Mass., raising her eight children, hosting Bible Studies, chairwoman of the North Shore Christian Women's Club, member and Deaconess at West Congregational Church in West Peabody, a volunteer at Beverly Hospital, and a very successful Tupperware representative. She also enjoyed knitting, reading, painting, and watching the Red Sox.
Betty is survived by her eight children, Raymond Lentine and his wife, Maureen, of Oxford, Mass., Brian Lentine of Hernando, Fla., Robert Lentine of Beverly, Mass., Frank P. Lentine Jr. of Beverly, Mass., Mark Lentine and wife, Maria, of Methuen, Mass., Kenneth Lentine and wife, Wanda, of Lawrence, Mass., Scott D.Lentine and wife, Debi, of Danvers, and her daughter Deborah E. Macauley and husband, Tim, of Greenland, N.H.; her 10 grandchildren, Eric and David Lentine, Adam and Melissa Lentine, Erin and Mitchell Macauley, Spencer Lentine, Michael Lentine, Blake and Destiny Lentine; and four great-grandchildren.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday October 5, at 11 a.m., at Calvary Christian Church, 47 Grove Street, Lynnfield, Mass.
