SALEM — Mr. Timothy Michael Horgan, 56, of Peabody, died on Monday, September 30, 2013, at Salem Hospital, surrounded by his family.
Born in Peabody, he was the son of the late Francis M. and Joanne (Cromidas) Horgan. He was raised and educated in Peabody, and was a graduate of Peabody Vocational School in 1976.
Mr. Horgan had been employed with Shakey’s Quality Paper of Middleton. He was also associated with Jasko of Peabody. Tim had a passion for Elvis Presley music.
He was a loving brother, uncle, and cousin, and he will be deeply missed.
Timothy is survived by his sister, Lisa Horgan and her fiancé, Daniel Sauve; and his nephew, Joseph Morton, whom he resided with. He also leaves his brother, Peter Horgan of Florida; nieces, Candice and Shannon; and nephew, Derek Horgan; his uncle, George Cromidas and his dear friend, Mary Demala; cousins, Kim, Kelli and George Cromidas Jr., and their spouses and children; many cousins and their families; and many dear friends he made over the years.
Tim’s family would like to thank the staff at Hunt Rehabilitation in Danvers, Salem Hospital, and the Hospice of the North Shore, who helped make Tim comfortable during his final days.
ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral service will be held in The O’Donnell Funeral Home, 46 Washington Square, at Salem Common, Salem, on Friday, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem. Visiting hours are on Thursday, from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St. B102, Danvers, MA 01923.
