Mary A. (Micalchuck) Emminger, 94


Lynn — Mary A. (Micalchuck) Emminger, 94, of Lynn, died Thursday morning at the Kaplan Family Hospice house after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Carl Emminger.

Mary resided in Lynn most of her life. She worked at GE Plant in Lynn during World War II and also many years in the shoe industry in production and modeling shoes.

A matriarch of a very close family, full of fun, food and lots of laughter, she enjoyed electronic Knitting Machines which were her hobby and produced many many sweaters for all the family.

She is survived by three daughters, Dawn Sheehan and her husband, Thomas, of Bath, New Hampshire, Diane Descoteaux and her husband, Mitchell, of Wakefield, and Dale Tedesco of Wakefield. Other than her pride in her daughters, she was so very proud of her 13 grandchildren, all of whom graduated college with Bachelor degrees as well as some Masters and Doctorate degrees. By names they are Fr. Thomas Sheehan S.J., Wendy Geary, Glenn Sheehan, Kathleen Leary, Kevin Sheehan, Michael Sheehan, Michelle Berard, Samuel Descoteaux, Steven Descoteaux M.D., Rachel Woolbert, Sarah Popovics, Trent Tedesco MPT, and Tracy (Tedesco) Cianci. She also leaves 19 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She will be forever in our hearts and memories.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Ann’s Church Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
