Patricia (Cassino) Doyle, 101


SALEM — Mrs. Patricia C. (Cassino) Doyle, 101, of Salem Willows, beloved wife of the late John E. Doyle, died December 23, 2013.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Leslie P. and Gertrude (Straw) Cassino. She was raised and educated in Salem and attended Salem Hospital School of Nursing.

Mrs. Doyle had been employed as a nurse at Salem Hospital for many years until the time of her retirement.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Pat was a member of the Tabernacle Congregational Church of Salem, the Congregational Church of Bingham, Maine, where she spent much time with her family. She was a member of the Women’s Friends Society of Salem, Bingham, Maine Grange and was devoted to her family. She will be deeply missed.

Pat is survived by her daughters, Patricia Michaud of Salem and Susan Lamb and her husband, William of Bingham, Maine; her son, John E. Doyle Jr. and his wife, Sandra of Salem; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She was also the sister of the late Shirley Mallard, Betty Prevost and Margherita (Dibbie) White.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in The O’Donnell Funeral Home, 46 Washington Sq.
