Danvers — Brian H. Casparian, 57, a retired Danvers Police Officer, passed away unexpectedly and was called home to God on Monday, May 12, 2014.
Born in Lynn on Sept. 25, 1956, he was the son of the late Higus and Elizabeth (Watson) Casparian. He was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn English High School. He had been a Danvers resident for nearly 30 years.
Brian began his career in law enforcement with the Wenham Police Department before transferring to the Danvers Police Department in 1989. He served with the department until his retirement in March of 2013.
An avid outdoorsman, Brian loved fishing, hiking, and boating. He enjoyed playing his mandolin and riding his Harley, and loved spending time with his children.
He leaves his three children, Katie Casparian of Bradford and Jake and Benjamin Casparian of Danvers; his brother and sister, Allan Casparian and Jean Gallagher, both of Florida; his nephew, Stephen Casparian of Colorado, and several other nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral service will be Monday, May 19, 2014 at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity United Methodist Church, 16 Sylvan St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, West Peabody. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square.
