Danvers, MA — Scott Alan Lounsbury, 50, of Middleton, Mass., died Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.
Scott was born in Newburyport on May 10, 1964, a son of the late Howard and Dora (Eaton) Lounsbury. His interests were the beach, music, and parties. Some of his favorite phrases like “Go for a ride," ”Go to the gym,” were expressed in some of his most happiest moments. Scott was faced with many medical challenges over the years. He was awed by those around him for his strength and spirit.
Scott’s close family friend, Lillian Donahue, supported and loved him throughout his life. He is survived by his two brothers, Howard and Jeff. Many people from his home and day program, SHORE Collaborative, supported him throughout the years. He was loved and cared for by all.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visitation will begin at 1 p.m., services will be at 2 p.m., and visitation will continue after the service until 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home–Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton, N.H. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial will be private in the Belleville Cemetery, Newburyport.
