Peabody MA — Tayla Rose Greenlaw, 18, of Peabody, Mass., passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at the Mass General Hospital in Boston, after a short illness.
She was born in Beverly, Mass., on August 11, 1995, and was the daughter of Kerry Michelle Greenlaw and Eric Franco. She had resided in Peabody, and later in North Andover, for 10 years, before returning to Peabody a few years ago.
Tayla had been a student at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School. She had worked at Performance Plus Hair Salon in North Reading, and was preparing to take courses to become a hairdresser. She loved life and was very energetic, and enjoyed the summertime and was eager to go to the beaches on the North Shore.
She is survived by her parents; her brothers and sisters, Eddie and Dominic Greenlaw, and Patrice Gianareles, all of Peabody, and Aaron and Ashley Franco, both of Woburn; her maternal grandmother, Margaret (Bollettiero) Duarte of Peabody; and Manuel and Eileen (Criscuolo) Franco of Lynn; her uncle, Mark Greenlaw of Peabody; a cousin, Matthew Greenlaw of North Andover; her true love, Brock Fleming of Salem; a dear friend, Sarah Palazola of Danvers; and many loving friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24, at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, from 4 to 8 p.m., with a Memorial Service in the funeral home at 7:45 p.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
