Rye Beach, N.H. — Carylyn V. Grondin of 100 South Road, Rye Beach, passed away unexpectedly at her home Monday afternoon, October 15.
Carylyn was a vivacious woman. Graceful and dignified, she had an appreciation for the beauty in life. Her love was palpable, her presence a blessing, she lived for hope and will live on in the hearts of those she loved.
Carylyn leaves behind her three beautiful daughters, Brianna, Alyssa, and Sabrina Tay, whom she loved immeasurably. The beloved daughter of Francis J. “Frank” and the late Virginia (Carey) Grondin, Carylyn is survived further by her sister Dr. Marylyn V. Grondin and her husband Scott Gormer of Hampton Falls and their children Sandra (Mrs. Patrick) Kennedy, Erin (Mrs. Kiley) Hard and Lauren Gormer; her brother, Allen and his wife Jane Grondin of Barrington and their children Joshua and Matthew; and her brother, Kevin and his wife Kimberly Grondin of Hampton and their children Leah and Kody. Further surviving, her uncle Thomas and his wife Eleanor Grondin of Danvers, Dr. Andrew Nathan. A circle of extended family and countless friends that span the East Coast and beyond will forever remember Carylyn with a smile.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Theresa of Lisieux Church, 820 Central Road Rye Beach, N.H., Monday morning, October 22, at 10 a.m. Family and friends are invited to call to Carylyn’s home, 100 South Road, Rye Beach, N.H., on Sunday afternoon from 2-6 p.m. A private family interment in Central Cemetery, Rye, will immediately follow her Funeral Mass. In Carylyn’s memory, contributions may be directed to a scholarship fund established to assist a local student pursuing a career in nursing, a vocation very special to Carylyn; The Carylyn V.
