Rita (Liporto) Tardiff, 84


BEVERLY — Mrs. Rita (Liporto) Tardiff, 84, of Beverly, beloved wife of the late Hector Tardiff, died Monday evening at Twin Oaks Nursing Home in Danvers.

Born in Beverly she was the daughter of the late Donato and Anna (Mollo) Liporto. She was raised and educated in Beverly and was a lifelong resident of the City of Beverly.

Mrs. Tardiff had been employed for many years with the Marshalls Corporation in the Distribution Department until the time of her retirement.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Rita enjoyed spending much of her time at the beach with her family and friends.

Rita is survived by her daughter, Nancy Bochynski of Florida; her son, Gary Tardiff and his wife Kelly of Topsfield; her grandchildren, Simon Tardiff, Karen Rollins and Debby Brown; her great-grandchildren, Alex, Kyle and Jason Rollins and Sarah Grace Brown; her brother, Guido Liporto of Beverly and several nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. She was also the sister of the late Ernesto and Gino Liporto and Pauline Ryanski.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held in the Peterson-O’Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St. (Rte. 62), Danvers, Saturday at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours prior to the service from 10 A.M. to 12 noon.
