Danvers — John Thomas “Johnny” Locke, 33, of Danvers, MA, passed away at home, surrounded by family and loved ones on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, after a courageous battle with brain cancer.
John was born in Malden, MA, on March 20, 1979, to Susan (Cintolo) Locke and John R Locke Jr. He was a lifelong Danvers resident who graduated from St. Johns Prep in 1997, and Stonehill College in 2001. Following college, John began his career with the United States Government, starting at the TSA at Logan Airport. In 2007, John achieved his life-long dream and became a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Boston, MA. He served proudly in the cyber-crime division.
John had a passion for sports, fitness, cars, music and family. John loved to travel; his favorite destination was Disney World in Florida. He was able to travel all over the country and world throughout his life.
Surviving John is his loving mother Susan of Danvers, father John of Beverly, sister Jennifer of Danvers, and brother Christopher and his wife Andrea Locke of Ipswich. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins from the Cintolo and Locke families, as well as his companion and girlfriend Keely of Boston, MA, with whom he shared many wonderful years.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be held in the Campbell-Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St. North Beverly, on Friday August 3rd from 4 to 8 PM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. A funeral mass will be celebrated, Saturday, August 4th in St. Richard’s Church, 90 Forest St. Danvers, at 11 AM. Interment will be private.
