Sanford, Maine — Mrs. Joyce E. (Cronen) Pasquarello, 82, of Sanford, Maine, beloved wife of the late John Pasquarello, died on January 12, 2014, at the Newton Center in Sanford, following a brief illness.
Born in Brattleboro, Vt., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Matton) Cronen. She was raised and educated in Salem.
Mrs. Pasquarello had been employed at the Hawthorne Hotel in the housekeeping and laundry departments for many years, and previously she had been employed with Maynard Plastic in Peabody and at the former Jordan Marsh Store as a waitress.
A longtime resident of the city of Salem, Joyce enjoyed playing bingo and going to the movies. She enjoyed dancing, and had a passion for the music of Elvis Presley. She has lived in Sanford for the past year and a half with her daughter, Darlene, and son-in-law, Richard, until the time of her illness. She will be deeply missed.
Joyce is survived by her daughters, Diana Waller of Englewood, Fla., Donna Clark of Salem, and Darlene Cole of Sanford; her sons, David Casey and Daniel Casey, booth of Salem; her stepsons, Jack Pasquarello and Joseph Pasquarello, both of Salem; her eight grandchildren; her 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of Joseph Cronen, and the late Mary Potter. She was also the stepmother of the late Ruth Ann.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held in The O’Donnell Funeral Home, 46 Washington Sq., at Salem Common, Salem, on Friday, January 17, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited.
