Danvers — Gloria May Bedard, 80, of Danvers passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014.
Born in Chelsea, Mass., she was a graduate of Swampscott High School. Gloria was the daughter of the late Marjorie (Hayman) and Raymond Mansfield. Gloria worked for Beverly National Bank for many years. When she retired from the bank, she found she had too much energy to fully retire, and until recently, worked in a medical office, which she truly enjoyed. Gloria was an avid and successful golfer, and her hobbies included scrap booking and spending time with her family.
Gloria will be sorely missed by her sons, John Bedard and husband Joe of San Francisco, Calif., Stephen Bedard and wife, Lisa, of Danvers, Scott Bedard and wife, Amy, of San Carlos, Calif.; and daughter, Cheryl Armos of Sebastian, Fla. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her son, Henry Bedard Jr. She was a loving sister to Donna Murphy and husband, Don, of Peabody, Cynthia Russell and husband, William, of Alabama, Charlene Curtin and husband, Robert, of North Andover, Raymond Mansfield and wife, Millie, of Georgia, and Charles Mansfield and wife, Terry, of Wenham; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Mansfield of Michigan. She was the cherished grandmother of Amanda, Matt, Jake, Zaria and Tesla; ex-wife of Henry Bedard; and is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Wayne Freeman of Middleton, Robert Mansfield of Michigan, and Carol Campbell of Abington.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Care Dimensions (Formally Hospice of the North Shore), 75 Sylvan St., Suite B102, Danvers, MA 01923
