Danvers, MA — Maryanne C. Glynn RN MSN, 64, of Danvers, passed away at Brigham & Womens Hospital, on Thursday, January 23, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was the daughter of the late Joseph P. Glynn and the late Lillian M. Glynn, who passed away on January 19, 2014.
Born in Beverly, Mass., Maryanne graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School in 1968. She received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Salem State College and a master's degree in nursing from Boston University. She spent several years working at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and most recently worked as an administrator at local nursing homes.
Maryanne was a communicant of St. Mary of the Annunciation Parish in Danvers, and enjoyed time with family. She leaves her brothers, Ernest Glynn and his wife, Donna, of South Berwick, Maine, Peter Glynn and his wife, Leslie, of Danvers, and Paul and Michael Glynn, both of Danvers. She also leaves her nieces, Kathleen, Kimberly and Crystal; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a funeral Mass to be celebrated on Tuesday, at 9 a.m., in St. Mary of the Annunciation Parish. As requested, there are no visiting hours.
