TOPSFIELD — Mrs. June M. (Hosford) Kenny, 85, of Topsfield, beloved wife of the late William E. Kenny, died Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at the Blueberry Hill Nursing Home in Beverly.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Helen (Gorman) Hosford. She was raised and educated in Lexington and was a graduate of Lexington High School.
Mrs. Kenny was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who took great pride in establishing a warm and welcoming home for her family and friends. She was dedicated to her family and will be deeply missed.
A longtime active member of St. Rose of Lima Church in Topsfield, June loved to sing and was a member of the church’s choir. She enjoyed traveling yet above all else family was paramount in her life.
June is survived by her daughters, Diane M. Pendergast and her husband, Thomas III, of Amesbury, Heidi Glow and her husband, Dale, of Pepperell and Linda Kenny of Topsfield; her son, William E. Kenny and his wife, Catherine, of Stratham, N.H.; her thirteen grandchildren and her one great-grandchild; her sister, Audrey Hosford of Newburyport and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Joseph Robert “Joe” Hosford.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in The O’Donnell Funeral Home, 46 Washington Sq., (At Salem Common), Salem on Saturday, November 23, from 9 to 11 a.m. Her funeral Mass will be held in St. Rose of Lima Church, Park St., Topsfield, Saturday, Nov. 23, at 12 Noon. Following the visiting hours. Burial in Pine Grove Cememtry, Topsfield.
