Lynn, Ma — Mrs. Beverly F. (Atkinson) Rae, 92 , of Lynn, died suddenly on Friday, November 22, 2013, in Union Hospital. She is the wife of the late Robert D. “Bob” Rae. She was born in Boston, and was the daughter of the late Robert T. and Kathleen G. (Edwards) Atkinson. She was raised in Roslindale and graduated from Boston schools. She lived in Lynn for 25 years, in Florida for 17 years, and then Peabody and Salem.

She was a member of the Order of The Eastern Star. She enjoyed sewing and reading. She was a devoted and loving grandmother and great-grandmother, who loved her family.

Mrs. Rae is survived by her son, Robert A, Rae and his wife, Karen, of Goose Creek, S.C.; two daughters, Beverly Clark and her husband, Roland, of Derry, N.H., and Gineen L. Rhodes and her husband, Edward III, of Peabody; her grandchildren, Roland Clark III, James I. Clark, Amanda Clark, Cassandra M. (Rhodes) Waterhouse, Kendra L. Rhodes, Alyica D’Agnese, and Candice A. Rae; her great-grandchildren, Dolan and Ian Clark; her sisters, Roberta Smith, Lois Bernard, and Carol Hammond; and several nieces and nephews. She is the mother of the late Georgina D. D’Agnese.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 27, at 10 a.m., in the Solimine Funeral Home, 67 Ocean Street, Route 1A, Lynn. Cremation will be in Harmony Grove Crematory, followed by burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park at a later date.
