Rockport, Beverly, MA — We say goodbye to Bob. He lived a full life. He even made his 85th birthday!
He was born in New York City, brought up in Salem, Mass., and moved to Connecticut. He was a Connecticut State Trooper, a Private Detective in New York City, a Military Police sergeant in the Army who was twice dispatched to Germany, where he met his wife, Heidi. When they moved back to the U.S., Bob worked many years for Sysco Corporation and settled in Rockport.
The sport of his life was the art of boxing. In early years, he won a championship, in later years, he taught boxing at the Beverly Athletic Club with much enthusiasm and joy.
He will be missed.
ARRANGEMENTS: His bodily remains are joining his departed veteran companions at the Bourne National Veteran’s Cemetery, until the day of resurrection.
