Ann D. Trupiano, 77

Beverly, MA — Ann D. (Vickery) Trupiano, 77, wife of Joseph R. Trupiano, of Beverly, formerly of Magnolia, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2013, at Essex Park Nursing & Rehab in Beverly, Mass.

She was born in Cambridge, Mass., on July 14, 1936, and was the daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Butt) Vickery. Mrs. Trupiano was a Gloucester High School graduate, Class of 1955.

In January 1956, she married her lifelong partner, Joseph Trupiano, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage. Ann grew up in Magnolia, a place she loved, and was so happy to be able to raise her two sons there as well. Ann was a woman known by many. After raising her boys, she worked at Trupiano’s Superette for many years. Her warm smiling face would greet every customer as they walked in. Later Ann became a bank teller at Cape Ann Savings Bank, always showing up to work with a smile and kind words. Shortly after the bank, she worked at Crosby’s Market in Manchester.

Ann was a compassionate, kind and caring woman. Her family and her faith were extremely important to her. She was a dedicated and loving wife and mother, placing all before herself. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph R. Trupiano of Beverly; her children, Anthony N., husband of Joyce (Roberts) Trupiano, and Joseph R. Trupiano Jr., all of Gloucester; grandchildren, Lynn Sens and her husband, Eric, of Metairie, La., Anthony N. Trupiano Jr. and his wife, Amanda, of Ft. Riley, Junction City, Kan., Elizabeth Trupiano of Magnolia, Joseph R. Trupiano III of Minnesota, and Michelle Teel and her husband, Nate, of Essex; great-grandchildren, Michael and Sean Sens of Metairie; brothers, Walter A. Vickery of Manchester, and Robert Vickery and his wife, Ramona, of Largo, Fla.; loving niece, Nancy Popick and her husband, Patrick, of Craig, Colo.; nephew, Daniel Winchester of Gloucester; and many nieces nephews, cousins and friends.

She was predeceased by her siblings, William, Daniel, John, James, Charles, Louise Vickery, and Alice Ross.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral will be held from the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington St., Gloucester, on Saturday, July 27, at 9:45 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Family Parish, St. Ann’s Church, at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours in the Greely Funeral Home will be on Friday, from 4 to 8 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited.
