Patricia J. Cozby, 67, of Oxford passed away on April 1, 2012, after a spirited battle with a long-term illness. She approached her illness and passing with the same humor and tenacity she displayed all her life. Patti was a very talented and accomplished vocalist, passionate about old-time country music. She performed often over the years with numerous groups and her church. However, Patti's greatest devotion was to her family and her adopted "Family of Friends" that extended to Massachusetts, Maine and Texas. Patti was always the life of the party and a joy to be around. She will always be deeply missed by numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and especially, her friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert Morneau, Bernie (Opperman) Morneau, her sister, Diane Fessler and her brother, Robert Morneau. The family would like to thank Patti's dear friends Carlene and Donnie Rogers, Lincoln Cronkhite, and Hattie Sholds for their unwavering love and support to Patti over the years, especially when she needed them most.
