Peabody, MA — Milton Kellerman, 91, of Peabody, died on Tuesday after a lengthy illness in the Aviv Centers for Living in Peabody. Born in Portsmouth, N.H., the son of the late Isadore and Bessie Kellerman, he attended Peabody Schools. He retired in 1983 from the Kroy Tanning Co. of Salem. A World War II Army Veteran, he was a past commander of Jewish War Veterans of the North Shore Post #220 in Peabody and was honored as Grand Marshall of Peabody’s Memorial Day Parade. He was a Director and was honored by being appointed lifetime board member of Cong. Sons of Israel in Peabody, a Board of Director and Administrator of Maple Hill Cemetery in Peabody, and a member of General Gogswell Lodge Knights of Pythias.
He was the beloved husband of the late Rhoda Kellerman; devoted father of Arthur G. and his wife, Mary Kellerman, of Billerica, Elaine S. and her husband, William Della Croce, of Quincy, Daniel S. and his wife, Julie Kellerman, of Billerica; loving brother of the late Joseph Kellerman, Irving Kellerman, and Mary Sigel. He was the cherished grandfather of Beth and her husband, Nathan Pattison, and Lily Kellerman; and great-grandfather of Xander, Zara, Gabriel Pattison and many nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Services will be at the Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St., Salem-Swampscott line on Friday, July 5, 2013, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Esquire Drive, Peabody. A reception will follow at Toscana’s Restorante, 3 Bourbon St., Peabody. The Memorial Observance to be announced at the service.
