Rosamond J. Morse, 78


Beverly — Mrs. Rosamond J. Morse, 78, beloved wife of Albert I. Morse, died Thursday, July 4, 2013, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, surrounded by her family.

Born and raised in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late James R. Gray and Elinor C. (Dodd) Whitman. She attended the Beverly School System and Beverly High School. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She also worked as a clerk at Ann & Hope for 23 years in the domestic department.

A lifelong resident of Beverly, she loved the weekend trips to the New Hampshire Lakes with family and friends, and the yearly vacations to Las Vegas and beyond with her husband.

In addition to her husband, Albert, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage, she is survived by two daughters, Darlene Sharamitaro, wife of Leonard Sharamitaro, and Donna Caisse; three sons, Kenneth, Wayne and David Morse; five grandchildren, Michael and Anthony Sharamitaro, Jessica Morse, Rosamond Joan Caisse and Tere’ Michelle Caisse; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marilyn Coulombe and Pamela VanDyke; one brother, Gordon Robert Gray; and several nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be held at the Campbell–Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., North Beverly, on Saturday, July 13, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
